We, at Udyogwardhini, have always been focused on developing and inculcating market-oriented skills. These skills do not just make an individual job-ready but also enrich them with knowledge and skills that stay with them throughout their lives. While different people may have different reasons to learn a particular skill, there is no doubt to the fact that the skills taught at Udyogwardhini will help you get an edge in the market.
These initiatives have given employment or self-employment to more than 35,000 youth across India. Timely support by Corporates through CSR and Government organizations has enabled us to reach the socially & economically deprived youth and women. NDTV Profit & Zee Business has taken cognizance of it & telecasted films on our initiative named ‘Changing Lives'. Tata Housing Limited has recognized us 3 times by giving us the "Best NGO partner" title.
Udyogwardhini has been adopting talukas and villages namely Igatpuri, Peth, Surgana, Ghoti under CSR initiatives to train/develop and upskill people. These trainings have been imparted at their place & at their convenient timings so that their learning journey is hassle-free. We have trained over 3,000 rural youth and have observed a significant impact in the entire Taluka/Village wherein the average incomes have doubled, giving rise to the various job and business opportunities in and around the village.
With so much of industrialization and globalization, India has been growing rapidly. More start-ups and industrial set-ups demand more skilled employees. Therefore learning the correct set of skills is the need of the hour.
Udyogwardhini initiated skill development in 1995 much before the skill India movement. We have identified lots of non-conventional trades which have great demand in the job market.
Our skill development programs are focused on trades that are in demand. We impart practical training that suits the market requirements & life skills to be successful in their endeavors. We have identified some trades, prepared a demand-based curriculum & launched these courses for the first time in Maharashtra. Trades are diversified from Telecom, Construction, Real Estate, Information Technology, Non-Conventional Energy, Electrical Vehicle, Share Market, etc convenient for rural as well as the urban market.

We also conduct night schools for laborers and daily wage workers as they need to work during the morning because we believe that upliftment and development is our responsibility.
