We at Udyogwardhini aim to ingrain and enrich the spirit of developing entrepreneurial competencies because we believe in creating opportunities, not waiting for them. Keeping the broad mission of ‘Entrepreneurising the society’, Udyogwardhini has been able to create 60,000 first generation entrepreneurs through scientifically designed Entrepreneurship Development Programs, based on the theory of world-famous scientist David C. McClelland.
We have successfully inculcated the entrepreneurial skillsets & prepared the mind-sets of aspiring creators, college graduates, employees & unemployed youth in urban and rural areas. We have infused the spirit of entrepreneurship in every technical skill training right from agriculture and & food processing, mobile repairing, financial products & services, solar energy, electrical vehicles to high tech artificial intelligence & Internet of Things to create agropreneurs to technopreneurs.

Mr. Shashikant Dhatrak and Mrs. Manisha Dhatrak established a food processing company with a mere ₹5,000 in 1996. Initially, the Dhatrak couple had to create the company without any economic, and social support. They completed the entrepreneurship development program at Udyogwardhini and Varun Agro is now a multi-crore fruit processing business. Varun Agro now has a turnover of more than ₹100 crores. They export fruit pulps to 80 countries and have employed thousands of Indians.
Mr. Vaibhav Joshi is the founder of Ekvira Industries, a conglomerate, which has a turnover of nearly ₹100 crores. Vaibhav remembers the day when he was unable to pay a small amount of ₹280 from his own pockets to join the entrepreneurship development program way back in 1988. Mr. Joshi now owns 8 factories and dedicates his success to Udyogwardhini.
Mr. Chavan is a renowned environmentalist in Nashik. He created his business keeping in mind the lush-green scenes of Nashik and built Green Spaces, Grape County Eco Resort, Viveda Wellness Retreat, and many more societies. Recipient of the Vasundhara Award and the Vanshree Award for planting over 30,000 trees, Mr. Chavan is a keen cyclist as well. He was one of the students from the first entrepreneurship development program started in 1985 by Udyogwardhini.
Mr. Anil Aher had done his entrepreneurship development program from Udyogwardhini many years back. He paid his fees in installments by working as a compounder to a doctor while he was learning simultaneously. Today, Mr. Aher has over 50 construction projects; is the joint-secretary of CREDAI, Nashik; is an executive member of Vanbandhu Parishad and the president of Hanuman Mitra Mandal Public Library. He is a keen social worker. Mr. Aher has adopted 5 schools for tribals and donates food to the Warakaris.
Mr. Ravindra Zope experienced the worst that life could throw at him by living 9 days at a railway platform and for 4 days at the bus stand. He currently owns 4 companies due to his consistent perseverance and incredibly hard-working attitude. Founder of Shree Ganesh Industries, he now employs hundreds of youth and owes his success to Udyogwardhini.
Hailing from a farmers' family, Mr. Nitin Bunge owns a pre-printing business, which is the largest in North Maharashtra. Mr. Bunge had failed in his English exams thrice. Fed-up with such academic performance, his father pleaded Mr. Sunil Chandak to do something. Through the entrepreneurship development program, Mr. Chandak gave Mr. Nitin the much-needed direction to hone his business skills. Mr. Nitin has visited various countries, and his business, Positive Industries, is now worth crores.
Founder of Amol Industries, Mrs. Nalini Kulkarni had just studied till 10th standard before joining the entrepreneurship development program at Udyogwardhini. Without any family background in business, Mrs. Kulkarni is now serving the needs of various large industries through her own Plastic Processing Company. She has hundreds of employees and is also teaching entrepreneurship to many students.
Mrs Sujata Shelke has had a fascinating journey from being a housewife to a successful entrepreneur. After completing her BA, she enrolled herself in the food processing training organised by Udyogwardhini. Mrs Shelke surveyed the market for nearly ten years and then finally started her business, Vedanta Agro Products. Their products are known to have a distinct identity, which has profited them in millions. Her company is also the source of income for numerous families.
Mr Mahendra Shingare had to endure extremely tough situations in life. The economic situation of the family was nowhere near ideal, but he somehow managed to educate himself till 12th class. He then joined the export-import training provided by Udyogwardhini. He started his enterprise with only ₹5,000 and faced many challenges to establish his company, which now has a turnover of ₹70 lakhs. Mr Shingare today has an export business of onions and leafy vegetables to more than 10 countries.
Mr Amar Thakare had quite a difficult time studying engineering. Today, he owns 3 IT companies and the newspaper, Sakal, described him as "The Uncrowned King of Cyber Security". Despite his initial academic struggles, Mr Thakare excelled in the entrepreneurship development programme. He has solved over 370 cybercrime cases and has delivered more than 850 workshops on cybercrime awareness. His business is now empowering the Maharashtra and Nashik City Police.
