This course plays an important role in clearing out the basic concepts of Computer hardware and networking. An introduction to computers and computer networking is offered in this course. The course covers computer hardware, computer operating concepts, operating systems, digital data representation, computer programs, the World Wide Web, and digital security. The emphasis is on network terms and protocols, local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), models of Open System Interconnection (OSI), cabling, cabling tools, routers, programming for routers, Ethernet, addressing, and network specifications for Internet Protocol (IP). This course gives complete in-depth information on the topic and is followed by practical orientation and guidance.
